About Dr Gretchen Heinsen

Gretchen Heinsen, D.M.D., M.Sc.D received her degree in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry from the Endodontic program of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1984. Her dental degree is from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry. She has been practicing in Broward County since 1984.
Dr. Heinsen has served as an adjunct professor for a period of 10 years (1996-2006) at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Gretchen Heinsen has been active in numerous academic and professional organizations, including the Boston University Endodontic Alumni, the American Dental Association of Endodontics, Broward County Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association and various local study clubs.

Dr. Gretchen Heinsen has also been involved in non-profit organizations such as the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Boys and Girls Club of Broward County and as the incoming president of the Junior Welfare Society.

Dr. Gretchen Heinsen prides herself in treating the patients as if they were a member of her own family. She loves working with children with endodontic needs.
